Hi! I am Brianna, an artist, author, and illustrator. Writing and illustrating children’s books is my passion. I love being a part of creating opportunities for intimate moments between a parent and child. I was lucky to have a third grade teacher who inspired me to create my own books. This set a foundation for my growing passion for story-telling. Listening to stories and telling stories helps me process my experience of life and I want to spread that joy. I am an member of Storyteller Academy and SCBWI.

I was raised in Berkeley and now reside in Portland with my two kitties, Tati and Cookie. In 2004, I graduated from Mills College with a degree in Studio Art. During that time, I coached a community mural program that gave Alameda and Oakland youth an opportunity to make positive change in their community. I have professional experience in screen printing and graphic design, including type-setting and creating custom graphics.
